Regelventile gehören zu der Gruppe der Regelarmaturen. Ein Regelventil wird in ein vorhandenes System eingebaut um die durchfließenden Medien zu regulieren. Bei den Medien handelt es sich meistens um gas, flüssig oder dampfförmige Medien. Die Regelventile werden durch elektrische oder pneumatische Antriebe Automatisiert.
